Probably the best kept secret in Shelton.  Most people just think its a local bar and thats it. Food is good but it someimes takes them forever to get the food out to you once you have ordered. They do not have a large seating capacity but I have never had to wait very long.

Check out their specials they are usually very good and sometimes different. Service is always good

Do not be fooled by the appearance outside or inside this place has great food and never disappoints. It is actually restaurant quality cooking at a divey bar. Basically if you could care less what the seat your sitting on looks like or the color of the walls or the size of the bathroom than this is the place to go for a great meal and affordably priced !!

This local staple is known for delicious pub fare. The bar staff are very friendly. They don't have a huge beer selection but we were served right away. The ambience is a little bit divey and caters to an older, local crowd but is a perfect place to grab a few cold beers and a sandwich.

I would have to agree that this is one of the best kept secrets in the area. I would give it 5 stars, but it really lacks on the "atmosphere" aspect. But it is clean and quiet. I recently had a shrimp and scallop fra diablo over linguine dish that was better than the majority of true Italian restaurants around. The sauce was chunky and great tasting. Not a bunch of paste and "Ragu". The fish and chips is great. Homemade slaw is a winner. Had several soups on different visits....all good. Not sure what some people are talking about in reference to the waitstaff. I live 15 miles away, so I am not a local. The two regular waitresses that I have seen in the 4-5 time I have been there were very personable, accommodating and professional. Prices are very fair and portions nice.

Pros: You won't have a problem getting a drink because it is usually pretty dead during the week. The bartender is rude and the staff is only nice to the people they know.

Cons: It is a hole in the wall bar with grimey guests. Fancy name, not so fancy place.
